M. Jean Hill is a vice president of Corporate Communications at M&T Bank, headquartered in Buffalo, NY. Prior to joining M&T, she was a news anchor at the ABC television affiliate in Buffalo for twelve years. Before making Buffalo her home, Ms. Hill was an international correspondent for ââ?¬Å?Beyond Tomorrow,ââ?¬ a science magazine program, produced in Sydney, Australia and Los Angeles, CA for the FOX television network. That assignment came after working for network affiliate television stations in Georgia and South Carolina. These appointments led to numerous awards in the field of journalism.

Although a broadcast and print journalist by trade, Ms. Hill holds an MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo, as well as a masterââ?¬â?¢s degree from The Ohio State University and a bachelorââ?¬â?¢s degree from the University of Georgia, both in the field of journalism. Ms. Hill is a Kiplinger Fellow and the 2003 recipient of the Urban Financial Services Coalitionââ?¬â?¢s Herbert W. Whiteman, Jr. National Scholarship.

Ms. Hill taught journalism at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and as an adjunct professor she taught broadcast copy writing at Buffalo State College and feature writing at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.

In addition to her primary occupation as a communications professional at M&T Bank, Ms. Hill writes freelance articles and has contributed reports for ESPN and Empire Sports Network as well as worked on special projects for Daybreak TV Productions and WNED-TV.

She routinely serves on governing boards and committees of non-for-profit organizations that support the Buffalo community. Ms. Hill is an avid international traveler, with a passionate interest in foreign culture and is a member of the French Alliance of Buffalo. In addition, Ms. Hill is a member of the Buffalo Prep Board of Directors and has rendered her services to numerous public and private organizations that support the Buffalo/Niagara region.
