Black Hole

© 1996 by Crista C. Williams

I am the black hole, baby
Black is what I am
I am the darkness that your whiteness
Cannot understand

I am the white rose, baby
White is what I know
I am the misconceptions
That you hoped would grow

I am the nigger
I am the jigaboo, the jungle-bunny
I am the cracker
Peckerwood, I am the honkey

I am the and/or
I am the maybe, could be, might
Inside me lies the resolution
To the fight

Black and white and me
What am I?
Black and white and me
What am I?
Black and white and me
What am I -
What am I to be

I¹m only me to me
