Jayme Glover Smith

Jayme Diane Smith was born in Buffalo, New York on January 8, 1977 to Otis and Barbara Glover. She is the eldest of one other sibling, Janine, born to this union. Jayme is a graduate of the University of Rochester where she obtained her degree in computer science. She has been employed with Ingram, Micro, Eastman Kodak Company the United Bank of Switzerland (Stamford, CT). For the past six years, she has been employed as Information Technology System Analyst for Football Operations with the Buffalo Bills. In her role, she is responsible for developing, administering and maintaining Pro/College Scouting and Injury Systems, NFL management Council, Salary Cap, Human Resources/Payroll databases and Game Day Scheduling System.

Jayme is a life member of Our Savior Lutheran Church where she has served on the Evangelism board. She is a Diamond Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Buffalo Alumnae Chapter where she currently serves as chair of the Arts and Letters committee and recording secretary. Jayme has served on numerous committees within the sorority working with youth and participating in community services activities. Jayme has served as chair of the WNY Black Film Festival since its inception in 2002. This event brings filmmakers and producers to the area to present their independent films. Jayme is also a member of the Hamlin Park Taxpayerââ?¬â?¢s Association.

Jayme has put her 18 years of professional dance training and creativity to use by volunteering her time choreography fashion/hair and step shows for various groups and organizations. In March 2005, she was recognized as WBLKââ?¬â?¢s Professional of the Month. Jayme was a recipient of the 1st Fifty Women Builders for Community and Dreams Award sponsored by St. Philips Community Center in 2006. That same year she was selected as the 8th grade graduation speaker for the B.E.S.T. school. In June 2007, Jayme was recognized by the Science Technology Enrichment Program (STEP) as one of its GEMS.

Jayme is married to Demone Smith, Masten District Councilmember for the City of Buffalo.
