Mrs. Louise Ester Barrett

Born on 5-31-1905. She was born in Cairo, Illinois. She was accomplished in the area of Religion. She later died on 6-7-2005.

Mrs. Barrett, affectionately called "Wease" was the only surviving twin, and the last remaining sibling of seven children born to the late Alex and Annie Ester. She was born Nay 31, 1905. She was educated in the Cairo, Illinois Public School System. She was employed at the Bethlehem Steel Company, In Lackawanna, New York until her retirement. She was married to the late George Oliver Barrett in 1928 and from this union, eight children were born: four boys and four girls.

She was a very active member of First Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Reverends James Thomas, Sr., and Eddie Ware until her health failed. She received awards for "Mother and Senior Citizen of the Year" having raised over 25 foster children.
