Dr. Veronica Mason was born August 12th, 1968 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center,
the daughter of Bobby and Connie Jones. She has 8 Siblings. She attended local schools and graduated from Trott Vocational High School LPN Program. She was a first-generation college student. She is married to Myron Mason of Niagara Falls and has 3 children Mahogany, Kelvonia and Vanessa and 1 granddaughter Noeme.


Dr. Veronica Mason, is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and health Coach practicing in a variety of outpatient clinical settings, including pain management psychiatry, mental health and Addiction. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing Degree from Damen College in Amherst, New York followed by her Master of Science Degree in Nursing and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from Daemen College. She also has a Psychiatric Mental Health Degree from Binghamton University.


Dr. Mason, has authored 2 books; the Nurse Practitioners Guide on How to Start an Independent Practice and Circle of Support. Dr. Mason is a national/international public speaker, nurse practitioner, trainer, and contributing writer for local health magazines regarding the treatment of chronic pain and various other healthcare topics. In 2009, she became the first African American female and nurse practitioner to start her own pain practice in Niagara County where she is providing a new and innovative approach to managing chronic pain by focusing on the whole person. In addition, she is on the WNY opioid abuse task force to address the growing opioid epidemic. Recently, Dr. Mason started a youth foundation with the mission to educate and empower youth through education, seminars, and vocational training.


She has received numerous awards including the local business of year award and in 2016 and the Women of distinction award from the NYS assembly. Dr. Mason was a teenage mother who with the help of her family and her Faith in God that he had a purpose and plan for her life, defied the odds and became a productive, successful professional. She is a minister, and mentor to many.
